This portfolio is meant to be a place where I can share some of my technical experience, a few things about myself, and any personal projects I might be working on.
About MeMy name is Nick Carpenter. I am an avid technical problem solver and have a passion for working with software and modern web technologies. Currently I am a Software Consultant for a global company, Quest Software, specializing in enterprise software solutions. When I have time I enjoy building personal projects in my spare time with a side goal of using the experience to pursue part-time freelance development jobs or any other great opportunities that come from it.

NDSU - My time in school was spent focusing on computer science theory and concepts. Most projects were designed to incorporate OOP.
CCAST - Interned at NDSU's research datacenter under the guidance of the lead HPC System Administrator.
Quest Software - In my role as a Software Consultant for a global software company I'm currently focused on identity management, on-premises, and cloud migration projects.
I continue to create personal projects to advance my skills and build upon concepts learned during my CS education.
